Through security and waiting at my gate now. Got freaked out for a
minute when I was checking in; the UK is apparently paranoid about
people going there to be bums, and won't let you fly into London
without documentation showing that you're leaving. I don't have a
return ticket yet since I'm not sure when it will be time to head
home, but I printed out all the info on my hostels/flights/etc., and
the folks at the ticket counter said that should be good. I guess
we'll find out in about 12 hours, eh?
Maybe if they weren't such a Nanny State they wouldn't have to worry about freeloaders coming in. Have fun you bum.
ReplyDeleteThe funny part is, the passport stamp specifically says that I can't get a job and have no recourse to public funds, so it's not like I'd even be able to become a bum. Also, I swear some countries must just have a favorite page to stamp... the boxes start on page 8, but both of mine from England are on 11, and both from Iceland on 12.
